Kobe & Gianna Bryant Laid To Rest In Private LA Funeral

Kobe and Gianna Bryant have been laid to rest.

According to reports, the NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter are officially at peace following a private funeral in Los Angeles held two weeks after the pair perished in a tragic helicopter crash.

Although the ceremony was not public, fans will get the chance to mourn at a public memorial that will be held on February 24 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Mayor Eric Garcetti said of the event:

“We are one city that believes in each other, believes in something bigger than ourselves. We will absolutely do everything to make sure that this is done so that everybody can come to it as well.”

As we reported, Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and pilot Ara Zobayan were also killed in the crash. The group was headed for a basketball tournament at Kobe’s Mamba Sport Academy.
