Aww! Such bad news for television!
Although Kristen Chenoweth was released from the hospital just a day after lighting equipment came crashing down on her head in July, the accident did cause some permanent damage.
She’s no longer going to continue her role on the The Good Wife as a result! The actress relayed the unfortunate news to sources and explained:
“It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife at this time. [I’m] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”
Such a bummer! We were really looking forward to this season and what it had in store for Kristin’s character.
The good news is that she’ll still appear in the season premiere on September 30.
We guess all that matters now is that the oh so talented actress makes a 100% recovery!
