Kyle Richards was “shocked” to see images of her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky kissing another woman. You know, those already infamous pics that surfaced last summer from an airport in Greece? But the reality TV star’s castmates are feeling something else… super suspicious!
On Tuesday night’s brand-new episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the issue of the Mykonos pics involving Mau and actress Nikita Kahn was finally adjudicated. But while the Bravo star maintained she was blindsided by her estranged husband’s activities, her RHOBH co-stars aren’t exactly catching the same vibe!

As the images began to go viral, Bravo cameras showed Kyle reacting in real-time. At one point, as she was consumed by the pics, Kyle said this to costar Erika Jayne:
“I don’t really know how I am right now, to be honest. I have no idea [who the other woman is], but it’s all over the internet.”
But Erika — who knows betrayal — was already raising an eyebrow. In response, she asked about the real estate mogul’s possible motives:
“If you are meeting someone, why are you greeting them at the airport when you know this is gonna happen?”
Good question!!!
Kyle defended Mau in response, tho:
“Obviously, when someone gets a shot of you like that, you don’t know. He didn’t know his picture’s being taken. I don’t think, especially in Europe, you’re expecting that. You’re not expecting it in Europe. He definitely did not do that on purpose. Is that what you’re implying?”
But Erika stuck to her guns:
“I wouldn’t say he’s doing it on purpose. I’m thinking, you can’t be that naive.”
Again, another fair point on EJ’s part!
Other RHOBH stars echoed what Erika was getting at, too — that Mau possibly staged the paparazzi pics on purpose — and Kyle is being incredibly naive to think otherwise! Bozoma Saint John remarked that the photos made it look like “a ‘we’ve been together’ type kiss,” while Dorit Kemsley admitted the whole thing “felt like a punch in the gut.” Meanwhile, Sutton Stracke asserted:
“It wasn’t an accidental paparazzi shot. This was a planned photo. I’ve been to that airport. I think I was in the airport when Jennifer Aniston was there and there was no paparazzi. Shady!”
Stracke also used that as a jumping-off point to note that the paparazzi had simultaneously been getting a ton of photos of Kyle and Morgan Wade right around that time, too:
“Those pictures of Morgan and her, picking her up at the airport, getting gas, walking down the street…”
That remark perked up Garcelle Beauvais‘ ears! She replied:
“You’re saying Mau probably planted these photos to get back at Kyle?”
To which Stracke answered:
“One hundred percent.”
Yikes!
They think it’s payback for her rumored love with Morgan?? Hmm indeed…
The drama continued in a preview for next week’s RHOBH episode, too. At one point in the teaser for that ep — which was shown at the very end of this one — Kyle continued to react negatively to the photos while out for a drive with her sister Kathy Hilton, saying:
“I think I’m a little bit shocked and still processing. I saw it like everyone else saw it, on TMZ. It’s very strange to see. I don’t want him to feel guilty because he’s allowed to do what he wants. But it’s also like, why are you being irresponsible? I don’t even know. I have a lot of mixed feelings. I’m just processing it all.”
Kyle also revealed that she initially wanted to text Mau “immediately” after first seeing the Mykonos pictures, but eventually came to the difficult decision that “it’s none of my business.” Guess not anymore!

The network’s online After Show recapping the episode with the show’s stars also contained even more reactions to the Greece pics, too! On the post-show show, Kyle confirmed that while she “wasn’t crying” over the pictures, they were nevertheless “weird to see.” Calling the whole experience “strange,” she said:
“I’m not the first person to get divorced. People get divorced. But last week was my 29th wedding anniversary. We’re not together, but this is a lot of years. Seeing these photos is strange to me, I feel like I’m looking at someone else. Someone I don’t know.”
She also explained how her daughters — Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, 36, Alexia Simone Umansky, 28, Sophia Kylie Umansky, 25, and Portia Umansky, 16 — were “upset” when they saw the kissing images:
“My daughters are seeing that, so it’s not just me. I know that’s weird for them. They’ve only seen their mother and father together. That’s strange to them, that doesn’t feel good to them. They, of course, were upset by seeing that picture, of course they were. Sometimes they get more upset even than I do.”
Ugh.
But in the end, Kyle did at least concede on the After Show that the whole thing was “another reminder” that her and Mau need to “move forward” and “do something and make decisions now.” Yeah. Uhhh, no kidding, girl…
You can see more on that angle via this sneak peek of next week’s ep (below):
But that generosity and apparent patience Kyle lobbed Mau’s way was NOT a feeling shared by the rest of her costars on that same post-show breakdown. Dorit, slammed Mau directly and chided him for not using more discretion with his airport kisses:
“Mau could exercise a little bit more discretion out of respect for his relationship with Kyle and his children. You’re free to do what you like, but you know it garners attention.”
Then, longtime friend of the show Jennifer Tilly added that matters are complicated because “Kyle still feels like they’re a couple,” and like the separation is only “a temporary situation.” Ooh, trust the pro poker player to be able to read her girl! She also suggested that somebody — in her opinion, possibly Kahn herself — called the paparazzi and tipped them off at their airport rendezvous:
“You know one of the people in the situation called them. I think the girl [Kahn] might have.”
To that, Garcelle hypothesized:
“Did Mau do it because it’s retaliation of all the images he’s seeing [of Kyle with Morgan]?”
Sutton agreed with those theories, adding:
“I don’t think it was an accidental paparazzi thing.”
While Tilly dropped this concluding remark on the whole shebang:
“I’ve been to Greece many, many times and I’ve never seen a paparazzi. It’s a sleepy little airport.”
Well, damn! There you go, y’all. That’s their theory, and RHOBH stars are stickin’ to it!
But is that your theory?! Share your takes on whether or not Mau (or Nikita) set the whole Mykonos affair up on purpose down in the comments (below)!
