Oh no! What’s a reboot without its most famous star?!
Lauren Conrad will not be on the upcoming reboot of MTV‘s The Hills: New Beginnings. We can’t say we’re surprised, but we sure are disappointed! At least now, we know why.

A source tells People the former reality TV star is in a different place in her life now, than when the MTV hit took over pop culture years ago:
“She’s in a different place in her life, but she wants everyone to enjoy themselves. She wishes everyone the best.”
That’s for sure! Since leaving the show back in 2009, Conrad expanded her personal brand and became a New York Times bestselling author, with nine books under her belt. She is also co-founder of a growing nonprofit marketplace with Hannah Skvarla, and designer of the LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl‘s collection.
Most notably, the 32-year-old and husband William Tell welcomed their first child, Liam James Tell, in 2017.
The insider really sums it up with this:
“She loves being a mother and focusing on her family and on her work. She has a very full and happy life.”
Good for her!
So at this point, no Brody Jenner, no Lo, no Kristin and no LC?!
If Audrina Patridge drops out too, then we’ll really be sad! (crosses fingers)
