We’re in awe. We’re in absolute awe of her.
Not a single person in the world would blame Lea Michele if she allowed herself to curl into a ball and be consumed with grief after losing her boyfriend Cory Monteith suddenly last month to a drug overdose.
Yet today, she proved that not only will she forever hold him in her heart, she will honor his memory and the world they helped create, as she went back to work today on their hit show, Glee. Production was pushed back following Cory’s devastating death, but the cast and crew are still back to work much earlier than expected — and it’s all because of Lea.
As Ryan Murphy explained earlier, she gave her blessing and her commitment for the show to go on in this dark time, thinking of the greater needs of the Glee family as a whole. How endearingly selfless.
So, as of today, the kids are all back to work, and Lea tweeted her joy to be back where it all began for her and Cory, saying:
First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much❤

We know we speak for EVERY Glee fan out there when we say you have all our love, support and light at this time. The fact that you are so dedicated to the show, to your crew and to your fans in this seriously sorrowful time only makes your beauty and strength shine more.
