It seems that with each passing month, Lea Michele‘s presence since the tragic death of her beloved Cory Monteith is Louder
The Glee starlet opened up on the red carpet at last night’s L’Oreal Women of Worth event, where she revealed what’s really been carrying her since the unexpected loss:

“My family has experienced a lot of loss in their life and they’ve been so wonderful in being there for me and giving me the strength I need.”

The 27-year-old triple threat will release the first single, Cannonball, off her debut album on December 10–and says the song (which she recorded in August following Cory’s death) is:

“…more than just a song to me. It completely helped to lift me up at a time where I needed it. Music can really help you in times of need, and that’s what this song did for me and I hope that’s what it does for others as well.”

Lea also explained how her family got very emotional during the recording of the track:

“I brought my dad to the studio and he cried the entire time. But for me it’s been very empowering. I’ve used this song as a rock.”

We’re so thrilled Miz Michele is thinking positive and healing, because this is just the beginning for her bright and shinning star!
