Love is shown in numerous ways.
Fiercely aware of the industry’s dark side, Lea Michele isn’t a risk-taker when it comes to certain aspects of Tinsel Town. And she did everything in her power to keep Cory Monteith away from its sharp teeth.
Sources have now revealed that Lea took determined action whenever the “sweet but naive” Cory would swim too close to the “zoo of piranhas,” using her above average business sense to ensure a healthier career for the man she loved with all her heart.
Unfortunately, as soon as Cory landed in Canada, all bets were off.
Now, almost a week after his drug overdose, Lea is left to plan his funeral. Sources say she’s letting his mother grieve while she takes control of the memorial and other matters regarding his death.
New reports also reveal how close they were to walking down the aisle, making all of this even harder to think about — something we didn’t even know was possible at this point.
