Yesterday, we told you Zambia was banning trophy hunting for lions.
Now, Leonardo DiCaprio and the International Fund for Animal Welfare are doing their part to help these endangered and beautiful lions.
The actor has taken a break from Hollywood to help the world. Leo posted the following on Facebook to help IFAW get the word out:

African lions, like other big cats, are in trouble. The population of African lions in their natural habitat has dropped by nearly 50 percent over the past three decades.
Even worse, the U.S. is the world’s largest importer of African lion trophies and parts. Please help protect lions by getting them listed as an endangered species.

Leo and IFAW are urging citizens to sign a personal note (HERE) to US Secretary Kenneth Salazar to help the lion.
