Letterman Sends His Stage Manager To The Hospital!

While killing time last night waiting for their special guest, MVP Saints quarterback Drew Brees, to show up, David Letterman thought he would throw the pigskin around with his crew.

He sent a strong spiral toss to his stage manager, 63 year old Biff Henderson, who caught the ball, but also fell off stage almost directly into the audience. He seemed fine at first, but shortly after, he complained that he couldn’t move one of his knees. He was rushed to the hospital immediately to be check out.

We’re told it ended up not being too serious and that Biff was released sometime last night after the taping.

Thank goodness! That’s all you need, Dave – another lawsuit!
