This is getting kind of old now. But some people just don’t know how to quit.
Because of David Letterman‘s comments last week about Sarah Palin and her daughter, CBS will be losing an advertiser, though not an advertiser that aired during Letterman.
Embassy Suites, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp., pulled advertising on from the entire CBS site because of patron complaints. Must be a lot of Embassy Igloos Suites in Alaska.
A rep for the company stated:
“We received lots of e-mails from concerned guests and we assessed that the statement that he made was offensive enough to our guests and prospective guests that we elected to take the ads down.”
Oh please!
And it goes on as there is actually a group organized to have Letterman fired. They call themselves the “Fire David Letterman” campaign.
