Liam Hemsworth Reportedly Has A 'Low Opinion' Of Ex-Wife Miley Cyrus One Year After Their Divorce -- Yikes!

Liam Hemsworth reportedly has a 'low opinion' about his ex-wife Miley Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus has been spilling so much tea about her tumultuous love life lately, right on the heels of her breakup with boyfriend Cody Simpson and release of her latest single Midnight Sky — both of which made headlines earlier this week!

It’s been a little while since we’ve checked in with the singer’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth though, and one year after the couple’s painful public split in August 2019, we’d be lying if we said weren’t curious about his feelings about newly single Mileybird and their divorce now. The 30-year-old must’ve caught her comments about their teen sexual experiences, right? ‘Cause we sure did!

A source told Us Weekly that Liam is definitely feeling jaded by how everything went down with his longtime love:

“Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point. He was really hurt by their split.”

Well, that’s understandable. Fans thought this OTP had finally settled down once and for all when they wed in December 2018 only for it to end abruptly the following summer.

Cyrus moved on VERY quickly after the breakup, famously dating and exploring her sexuality with gal pal Kaitlynn Carter for about a month before she enjoyed a 10-month-long relationship with Simpson. That really cut deep for Hemsworth, who’s been linked to the Wrecking Ball singer since 2009 when they met on the set of The Last Song. The insider noted communication has been abysmal ever since:

“Miley and Liam haven’t talked much since their divorce. Liam was hurt by Miley moving on with new love interests shortly after they broke up.”

It’s not to say that the Hunger Games actor didn’t do the same thing, though! The hunky Aussie enjoyed back-to-back romances with Maddison Brown and Gabriella Brooks, ultimately becoming more serious with the latter in late 2019 — but he was way more low key about it than Miley was with either of her relationships. Different strokes for different folks, we guess!

The confidant said that Liam’s family, including brother Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth, really came together to support him through the split:

“[He] has had the support of his family to help him move on. Liam has been trying to be as private as possible and respectful about their relationship and breakup, and it’s a shame to him and his family that certain aspects about his and Miley’s relationship have been made public. He’s a very traditional and good guy and was very hurt by the way specific instances played out in front of the world.”

It’s why the actor has been able to seemingly keep his head held high, despite the shade that’s reportedly being thrown behind close doors. He told Men’s Health magazine about his “balanced” lifestyle post-Miley back in April:

“I remind myself of what to appreciate now and to enjoy every moment as much as possible, whether that be working or with my family or whatever I’m doing. Just trying to find a positive in it all and enjoy life as much as possible.”

Reactions, Perezcious readers? As we mentioned up top, it’s not exactly surprising to hear these sentiments but it is interesting timing for this all to come out now. Do U think there’ll ever be a time when Liam and Miley are on better terms again? Let us know (below) in the comments!
