As much as they’ve fought and bickered over the years, Lindsay Lohan wants none of the responsibility for her actions placed on her parents.
Despite Dina and Michael‘s questionable parenting skills, Linds told Oprah during her OWN interview that she “hates” the negative reputation her mom and dad have garnered over the years, saying:
“They’re just parents, at the end of the day. I don’t blame anyone for my mistakes.”
Of course, that’s not to say she won’t own up to the fact that her upbringing was hectic to say the least. She tells O just how miserable it was at points, mixed with moments of hopefulness:
“I grew up in a very chaotic home and there were moments of everything being just wonderful and perfect and then things being so uncontrollable and chaotic.”
As you’ll recall, Linds and Dina Dearest engaged in an inflammatory fight last Fall, when Dina was accused of doing cocaine and fighting with her daughter so much that scratches were left on her legs.
