Scratch that, it is most likely his wife!
A man named William Baxter claims a cat “viciously attacked, bit and clawed” him, and he also claims the cat’s owner Christine Bobak should have known the cat was dangerous, since it had attacked before.
Now how would William know of the cat’s history?
Well, he may be married to the feline’s owner!
Here’s what the newspaper that initially reported the story had to say about it:
“A Facebook profile for a Billy Baxter, of Homer Glen, indicates he is married to a Christine “Bobak” Baxter, of Homer Glen. But it was uncertain whether the Baxter and Bobak involved in the lawsuit are that couple or whether they are married.”
It is unclear whether or not the two are still married, but odds are they WERE married at one point.
Still despite their history, William is suing Christine and her dangerous cat for a hundred thousand dollars!
Here’s what William’s lawyer said about that:
“That’s not something I really want to get into and talk about. I’d rather keep it in the courthouse.”
Talk about marriage problems!
The article also states that the man and woman are from Homer Glen, Illinois.
To which all we can say is d’oh!
