Adam Levine might like the paparazzi…but he’s NOT a fan of the VMAs!
Despite the fact that he received a nomination this year, Maroon 5 frontman/Voice coach Adam Levine had less than nice things to say about MTV’s Video Music Awards on Twitter.
Here’s what he tweeted about the event:
“the VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. F–k you VMA’s.”
And just an hour after the tweet, he tweeted an apology wrote the following:
“Still waiting to have my Jerry Macguire mission statement moment of deep regret├óΓé¼┬ª├óΓé¼Γäó Not happening. Phew!”
And here’s what MTV wrote in response:
“Soooo you’ll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!”
Nice to see that MTV is having a sense of humor about the whole thing. Guess we’ll see if Adam ever decides to tweet an apology…and if he’s ever invited back to the VMAs. Ha!
