Matt Damon Honored With Arts Medal By Harvard University

Matt Damon‘s a winner through and through!
Not only has he won A-list status AND the heart of adorbz wifey Luciano Barrosso, but the actor has now been honored with the 2013 Harvard Arts Medal.
The actor visited Harvard University ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥where he attended, but never graduated from├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ to collect the prestigious medal and speak at the awards ceremony that kicked off the university’s annual Arts First Festival.
The ivy league dropout said:

├óΓé¼┼ôIt├óΓé¼Γäós nice, selfishly, to be able to come back this week and be able to look around my old stomping ground, my old neighborhood, and touch base with old friends. I├óΓé¼Γäód just like to tell you that I├óΓé¼Γäóm really proud to have come from here. In all the accolades for the movies, all that stuff, whenever anybody says my name, they say the name of this university too, and that means a lot to me. I├óΓé¼Γäóve always tried to live my life in a way that honored that and deserved that description…So to all of you undergraduates and graduate students who are gonna go off and be the influencers in the world as I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure you all know by now, you are going to be making a lot of the decisions for the world ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I just urge you to hold on to that feeling of what we├óΓé¼Γäóre really about here├óΓé¼┬ªPlease just all hold on to your humanity as you go out into the world. ├óΓé¼┬¥

Sounds like a diploma didn’t change his affections for the school, but then again IT IS Harvard!!!
Such a profound and intelligent outlook only proves that his success AND the award are well-deserved.
