Though they’ve only been together for a short period of time, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have been the new couple to watch during the coronavirus pandemic, coming off of Miz Fox’s highly public split from husband Brian Austin Green.

Meeting On-Set
Though we wouldn’t see them together for nearly two months, they first met in Puerto Rico on the set of the indie thriller Midnight In The Switchgrass in March, which shut down production after just two weeks thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Early Rumors
Rumors of a romance between the pair first started in mid-May when photogs captured them grabbing takeout in Calabasas, just after it was said that Megan and Brian had not been quarantining together with their kids. May 16 coincidentally marked Fox’s 34th birthday, and the date of a cryptic message from the dad of four, who wrote:
“Eventually butterflies get bored sitting on a flower for too long. They start feeling smothered. It’s a great big world and they want to experience it.”
Split From BAG
On the May 18 episode of his …with Brian Austin Green podcast, the BH90210 star revealed that he and his wife had been on a break since December 2019:
“She said, ‘I realized when I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience and I think that might be something worth trying for me.’ I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way. It wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt.”
He also addressed the rumors about Fox and Kelly:
“I’ve never met him, but Megan and I have talked about him. They’re friends at this point, and from what she’s expressed, he’s a really nice, genuine guy, and I trust her judgment.”
As you’re likely aware, the now-former longtime couple share three boys together: 7-year-old Noah, 6-year-old Bodhi, and 3-year-old Journey. They first began dating in 2004 but split briefly in 2006 before marrying in 2010. In 2015, they announced their separation, but got back together by early 2016 and were expecting their third child.
‘Bloody Valentine’ Video
Despite what Brian had to say just two days earlier, on May 20 MGK dropped the new music video for Bloody Valentine, the first single off of his upcoming album, which starred Megan as the love interest, only furthering speculation about their relationship status.
It’s Official!
It wasn’t long before confirmation came directly from the Bad Things artist, who was calling the Holiday In The Sun actress his girlfriend by mid-June. Not only that, he declared his “love” for her around the same time, while Brian Austin Green attempted to move on to Courtney Stodden and Tina Louise.
Speaking Out
We got to hear more about their relationship straight from the source when the couple sat down with Lala Kent and Randall Emmett for an interview on their podcast, Give Them Lala … With Randall. During the chat with the Vanderpump Rules stars, Fox explained the near-instant connection she felt with Baker:
“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
She continued:
“I think it was the second day [of filming]. I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy.”

After almost two months of officially dating, the pair made things Instagram official on MGK’s feed with a black and white mirror picture, and did the same a week later on Meg’s account:
Signs point to this relationship lasting for a while, but you never know in this town!
