Mike Tyson Is Opening Up A 40-Acre Weed Resort, Y'all!

Now that weed is officially legal in California, Mike Tyson is hoping to make some green by growing it!
According to The Blast, on December 20, the former boxer began construction on a 40-acre cannabis resort — appropriately titled “Tyson Ranch” — in California City, CA where he was joined by business partners Robert Hickman and Jay Strommen, as well as city mayor Jennifer Wood.
Hickman says the “undeveloped lands are primed to be cultivated.”

Twenty acres of the ranch will be dedicated to cultivation facilities that “will allow master growers to have maximum control of their environment.” The athlete also plans on building the Tyson Cultivation School, which will teach growers the best ways to produce premium marijuana.
The resort will also feature a hydro-feed plant and supply store, an extraction facility, an edible factory, premium “glamping” campgrounds and cabins, and an amphitheater.
Aside from business, the former Heavyweight Champ believes in the healing properties of weed, and how its compound CBD (cannabidiol) reportedly acts as an anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, and antipsychotic agent that has been used to treat PTSD.
Additionally, Tyson Holistic — which operates the ranch — makes a strong effort to employ men and women who have served in the armed forces.
Because the place is located near Edwards Air Force Base, the 51-year-old hopes to create lots of jobs, and to become a positive, unifying force in the community.
Sounds like a knockout to us!
