Morrissey is a singer, musician, and all-around depressed meanie, and it seems like he’s always angry and judging everyone.
Srsly, he’s becoming more known for his controversial animal rights statements than his music!
Even though we sometimes agree with his stance on certain issues, the way he goes about talking about them is a little bit├óΓé¼┬ª insane. (Let’s not forget the “turkey torturer” debacle.)
While doing an online Q&A session to promote his memoir, Autobiography, he said:
“If you have access to You Tube, you should click on to what is called ‘The video the meat industry doesn├óΓé¼Γäót want you to see.’ If this doesn├óΓé¼Γäót affect you in a moral sense then you├óΓé¼Γäóre probably granite. I see no difference between eating animals and pedophilia. They are both rape, violence, murder. If I├óΓé¼Γäóm introduced to anyone who eats beings, I walk away. Imagine, for example, if you were in a nightclub and someone said to you ├óΓé¼╦£Hello, I enjoy bloodshed, throat-slitting and the destruction of life,├óΓé¼Γäó well, I doubt if you├óΓé¼Γäód want to exchange phone numbers.”
Jeez, we can understand having strong opinions and a love of animals but he’s a bit extreme.
He won’t even talk to people who eat meat?
How does he even make it through his daily life??
We understand that he’s trying to pass on a good message but he’s going about it in the worst possible way.
