
The sports world has lost a legend.
Boxing great Muhammad Ali passed away Friday at 74 years old from respiratory complications.
On Thursday, the fighting champ was hospitalized due to the issues. While a spokesman initially said in a statement that the acclaimed athlete was in fair condition and wouldn’t be staying in the medical facility for very long, his ailment was reportedly complicated by his Parkinson’s disease.

The sports star has suffered with the disease for three decades.
The Kentucky native was a true icon in the boxing world, amassing a professional record of 56 wins and five losses, and was only knocked out once.
The three-time World Heavyweight Champion was even nicknamed “The Greatest” because of his impressive legacy.
