Nick Gordon Attempts To Stop Lawsuit Blaming Him For Bobbi Kristina's Death -- Will It Work?!

Oh no!
Nick Gordon does not want to go to court for the death of his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina — and it appears he will stop at nothing to prevent it from happening.
In case you forgot, earlier this summer Whitney Houston‘s daughter’s estate filed a lawsuit against BK’s former flame accusing Gordon of domestic abuse and stealing thousands from the heiress.
However, the lawsuit was later altered to include that the 25-year-old fought with the R&B scion in the condo they shared and eventually gave her a “toxic cocktail” which is alleged to have caused her to go unconscious.

The lawsuit states that Gordon is:

“…a murderer, a habitual batterer of women, a seducer of young white females, a thief and/or con-man fueled by monetary gain, and a chemist capable of making a toxic cocktail”

To make matters worse, Gordon’s also accused of placing Miz Brown face down in the bathtub which caused her to suffer from brain damage.
The aspiring singer passed away back in July after the unfortunate incident earlier this year.
Still, it appears that Gordon’s lawyers have since motioned to stop the civil suit until the criminal investigation surrounding Bobby Brown‘s daughter’s death is concluded.
They noted that due to the starlet’s high profile parents, Gordon has become a victim of the media. The legal team explained that this negative attention would make him:

“…unfairly, legally and financially prejudiced should he be subject to parallel criminal and civil proceedings.”

Whoa!
It’s said that the defendant is attempting to put a hold on these particular legal proceedings in order to avoid further incriminating himself in the ongoing investigation of the late brunette beauty’s passing. Not mention that Bobbi’s beau has maintained his innocence throughout the entire media circus.
However, Fulton County District Attorney‘s office relayed that:

“…the case remains open and under investigation.”

This could mean there’s more evidence regarding the case that has yet to be made known to the public. Allegedly, the grand jury ruling over Brown’s death has already been summoned. Could Gordon be facing charges sooner than later?!
We guess only time will tell.
Stay tuned.
