As you probably heard, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, two of the final holdouts fighting the charges in the college admissions scandal finally changed their pleas to guilty last week.
And with that the long national nightmare is over — well, except for the prison sentences anyway. Though it remains to be seen if Aunt Becky and hubby actually have to see the inside of a cell considering the advantageous timing of their pleas…

According to what we’ve heard, the beneficiaries of the alleged fraud, bribery, and money laundering — Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli — have been very supportive of their parents throughout the difficult transition from maintaining their innocence to finally admitting wrongdoing.
Sources told People this week the former USC students just “want it to be over” and “agree the plea is the best option.”
And of course the sooner it’s over, the sooner life can get back to normal. And for Olivia Jade, that means getting her career back on track! No, she never even wanted or needed a college degree for her field — being a YouTube vlogger and social media influencer! A source explained to Us Weekly on Thursday:
“As far as her career, getting back on YouTube is still the end goal. But she knows that for a while she might face some struggle.”
However, they say there’s no such thing as bad press, and as many subscribers as Olivia might have lost due to moral outrage over her possibly going along with the scheme to take a spot from a deserving student — and just throwing it away — she has become more famous than ever before.
According to the insider, Olivia knows some companies will want to take advantage of that fact — and she’ll do whatever she has to in order to get back on track:
“She also knows that certain brands might want to capitalize on this whole situation and will be interested in working with her. It might not be her ideal picks, but she knows there is still a platform there for her and she will regroup and rebuild her brand in one way or another.”
But she isn’t planning on leaning into any sort of controversial image. The source says she is planning on walking the straight and narrow from now on — after all, she has an image to consider — even if it takes a long time to regain her viewers’ trust:
“Olivia has the mindset that nothing lasts forever and while she knows it will be an uphill battle, she feels much more confident than she did six months ago. [She] knows it’s a slow rebuild and that she’ll have to start from the ground up and be weary of her choices.”
