JURASSIC PARK WAS RIGHT!
And Coeur d’Alene, Idaho might have a bit of a terrifying problem…
Murderous, super intelligent owls!!
Don and Sue Sausser experienced this horror firsthand when an owl flew through the open sliding glass door of their 10th-story apartment!
The murderous owl apparently flew in, went for their bird cage of canaries and actually got one!
But wait… how’d it get one of their canaries if they were locked safely inside their cage??
The owl lifted a gate and got at the bird inside!! Owls can open doors! Just like Jurassic Park raptors!! Game over, man!
Thankfully one of the canaries survived the attack though is “shaken” according to its owners.
Sue found the owl in their living room, just hiding out. It flew out to her balcony but perched there for a minute before flying away. We assume the owl simply pointed at the other canary and mouthed, “You’re next,” before flying off.
The Saussers are prepared though! This time a twisty tie stands between the owl and his prey!
Take that, nature!
