Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are continuing to be shunned by the royal family. And now, amid their ongoing family feud, Buckingham Palace is showing the couple just how they feel!
As of Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been pushed to the very bottom of the esteemed “Royal Family” page on the family’s official website, Royal.UK. Rather than go in order of the line of succession, Harry and Meghan’s bios have been merged into a single profile, and they are listed all the way at the bottom of the page. Even after the very controversial Prince Andrew! Oof!

The fan blog Gert’s Royals was the first to notice the change this week. While the duo previously had their own profiles on the site (just like every other husband and wife pairing), they are now merged into one. And it makes a specific point to note that they have left the royal family. At the top of their profile, it reads:
“As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of The Royal Family. The couple married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor on 19 May 2018 and have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.”
The page then breaks into two sections, and goes into more detail about each royal’s accomplishments in life — although it’s far more condensed than their OG profiles. For Harry, that’s discussing his time in the British Army and work with the Invictus Games. He also no longer has a subheading titled “Supporting the Monarch.” Meghan, on the other hand, is highlighted for her role in Suits and former lifestyle blog, The Tig, as well as other activism initiatives.
Interestingly, at the bottom of the page, there’s a link to the Archewell founder’s new website Sussex.com. There, “information about the current work of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be found.” Hmm. The Sussexes have been prepping for a Hollywood reinvention, including starting up their new website last month — which was met with a TON of backlash. So maybe that prompted the change? They’re leaning back into their royal titles and embarking on new endeavors, and it was time that was reflected on the official site? Or perhaps now was just a good time for the palace to throw some subtle shade at them?? Like, putting them below Andrew is definitely a dig!
Either way, it’s a clear indicator that — despite all the controversies occurring with King Charles III and Princess Catherine — Harry won’t be working his way back up the royal ladder. Instead, they’re making it VERY clear where he and his wife stand! Yeesh!
