Fear Not, Famous Exes -- Rachel Bilson Is Clarifying THOSE Orgasm Comments!

Rachel Bilson wants to make a few things clear about those orgasm comments she made on her podcast!

For those who don’t know, The OC actress revealed on her Broad Ideas podcast earlier this month that she did not have her first Big O from sexual intercourse until she was 38 years old! She told her guest Whitney Cummings at the time:

“It didn’t happen for me until I was about 38. Isn’t that crazy?”

While Rachel didn’t get into the details about her previous relationships, many people took notice of these comments and began guessing her past famous beaus who may have been good or bad in bed. The names that came up? Well, the 41-year-old dated her The OC co-star Adam Brody between 2003 and 2006 before moving on to Hayden Christensen from 2007 to 2017.

Most recently, she was linked to Bill Hader until 2020 – which is around the time she had her first big bang. And considering Rachel previously expressed how she missed the Barry star’s “big dick,” folks put two and two together and believed he had been the one who gave her first orgasm. Of course, this could have happened after her breakup with Bill. Who knows! Either way, her comments had a lot of people talking. And now, Rachel wants to set the record straight about her orgasm comments!

During an appearance on The Viall Files podcast on Thursday, the Hart of Dixie alum made it clear that her remarks were not meant to disparage any of her former partners, explaining:

“I had Whitney Cummings on my Broad Ideas podcast and she was explaining to me that she got off birth control and at 40 she was able to have an orgasm through sex. I just jumped on that and I was like, ‘When I was older I was able to do that too.’ It has nothing to do with any partner… It had to do with me knowing my body.”

Despite the speculation, Rachel swears none of her exes are at fault here:

“Apparently there were names brought up in both regards and I am not OK with that, because it had nothing to do with that.”

Host Nick Viall then noted:

“We’re not shaming any exes.”

To which she replied:

“Or giving a trophy to any other exes. Nobody was involved other than myself.”

Before anyone says anything, Rachel also insisted she never lied about having an orgasm or faked it with her previous partners. She said:

“I will give credit where credit is due and you can still have really good sex without it, but I don’t like to lie. I do think it’s nice when the dude like checks in with you, too, of course. But I am a people pleaser. This is a problem of mine: I can get pretty old-fashioned. I have to take care of my dude and I fall into that pattern. But as I’ve gotten older, I think I’ve gotten more vocal and more comfortable with being vocal about it.”

So you have nothing to worry about now, Rachel’s old boyfriends! Lolz. You can ch-ch-check out her entire conversation with Nick (below):
