Asian Hooded Crane Takes An American Vacation

Just like Bugs Bunny, this crane shouldv’e taken that left turn at Albuquerque!
A rare Asian Hooded Crane has been spotted in Tennessee everyday since mid-December.
This species of crane is normally only associated with northern China and Russia but it has been hanging with his buddies in the U.S!
A flock of sandhill cranes normally have their winter vaycay in the Hiweese Refuge in southeast Tennessee. The Asian hooded crane is currently with the sandhills.
Normally, the hooded crane goes to Japan for winter but it looks like this one had other plans!
Over 700 bird enthusiasts have “flocked” to see this rare bird. People from Russia have even flew to Tennessee to see the bird.
Whooping cranes have also been spotted at the refuge.
Looks like that wrong turn paid off!
