Rob Lowe totally put Bella Thorne in her place.
Earlier this week, the former Disney darling took to Twitter to complain about the 101 freeway’s closure and whined that it was impacting her plans to see boyfriend Mod Sun‘s concert. What, we hope, Bella didn’t realize is that the roadway was closed due to deadly mudslides.

As you’ve likely heard, at least 17 people have died after mudslides swept through the Southern California town of Montecito. While the 20-year-old has since deleted the tactless tweet, the St. Elmo’s Fire alum laid into the actress for her ignorance.
The 53-year-old industry vet shared on Instagram:
This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood. Bella, I’m sorry you were inconvenienced. We will try to move out our dead quicker.A post shared by Rob Lowe (@robloweofficial) on Jan 11, 2018 at 2:23pm PST
Shots fired!! Still, we can understand where Lowe is coming from as he (along with Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Bridges, etc.) witnessed the devastation firsthand.
Although Bella has yet to respond to Rob directly, she did ~sort of~ acknowledge her social media snafu. On Thursday, Thorne wrote:
Fuck just caught up on some news had no idea why the 101 was shut down…get home to your family safe ├ó┬¥┬ñ├»┬╕┬Å

Despite Bella’s mea culpa, her boyfriend chose to defend her name, as he called out Rob on his Instagram story. In a series of videos, Mod Sun rambled:
“Hmmmm, thought you was cool, man. Out here being whack. It’s quiet as FUCK over here from Rob Lowe. Quiet as fuck from Rob Lowe… You’re saying, uhhh, ‘This is why people don’t like celebrities.’ So the reason people SHOULD like celebrities is because you bash on someone else? You bullying someone?? You trying to publicly make someone look bad?? … Just be nice to one another!”
The 30-year-old artist has since deleted a portion of his story.
Perhaps Mod Sun realized his lady was in the wrong?? Who knows…
