Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Wants To END The Stigma Of Mental Illness!

no title
We love her!!!
Robin Williams‘ daughter Zelda is only 23 years old, but she’s already showing her tenacity for making brilliant critiques on society as she did this past Friday!
The young lady took to the internets to advocate for those who suffer from mental illness, which her father was well known to have dealt with his whole life, and it sounds like she has some ah-mazing ideas for how we can end the stigma for those afflicted with mental illness.
And she did it all in support of World Mental Health Day!
Here’s what she tweeted:

“Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay. Mental illness is often misunderstood & misrepresented, but that’s starting to change. Let’s end the stigma. Mental health IS as important as physical health, & whether there are visible signs or not, the suffering is real. It can affect EVERYONE. So please, let’s help stop the misconceptions & support those who need our help. Healing the whole starts with healing minds. No matter what the misinformed say, you can’t simply CHOOSE to make mental illness go away. It is NOT cowardly to suffer or seek help.”

And Zelda finished off her enlightening tweets by mentioning her late father. Here’s what she wrote:

“Lastly, my dad openly fought depression his whole life, both in general and his own. No matter what anyone says, it is a FIGHT. Fight on.”

Wow!
Some remarkable words for such a young lady!
It’s obvious that she’s inherited some of her father’s genius, but she also seems to have a pretty good head on her shoulders.
We’re so glad that Zelda and her siblings will be able to make sure the world will never forget her father’s brilliance and contributions to the world.

Although he was such an amazing man that we doubt anyone would’ve anyway.
But it’s still nice to have such a nice reminder such as his lovely daughter!
