After learning that Mindy McCready tragically committed suicide on Sunday, baseball legend and allegedly former lovah of the country star, Roger Clemens is speaking out on Mindy’s death.
Clemes released a statement, saying:
“I had heard over time that she was trying to get peace and direction in her life. The few times that I had met her and her manager/agent they were extremely nice.”
Back in 2008, reports surfaced that Roger and McCready were involved in a 10-year long relationship, which began when the singer was only 15… but the athlete’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin said that Mindy was only “a longtime family friend of Roger Clemens and the Clemens family,” and that “at no time did Roger engage in any kind of inappropriate or improper relationship with her.”
Hmm… we don’t think Roger is being completely truthful ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ especially because the starlet admitted that she did get sexual with Clemens, but not until she was 18.
