So Sad! Koala Mourns Loss Of Home!

This is absolutely heartbreaking.
A cute little koala bear made his way back to his home in New South Wales, Australia.
But once he got there… it was all gone.
The area had been cut down and chipped by logging operations.
A volunteer from a rescue operation licensed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service called WIRES snapped a pic (above).
The most heart wrenching part?
This wasn’t just a photo op. The poor koala was sitting on top of what was once his home, looking confused├óΓé¼┬ª for over an hour!
He was eventually taken to a local vet then released near an established colony, so at least he has a new home.
But habitat destruction has brought the koala to the brink of extinction, with the Australian government declaring the species threatened in some areas.
Stop chopping trees! Save the koalas!!
