This entire situation is so sad and our heart goes out to the Schwarzenegger family who are undoubtably crushed by Arnold‘s betrayal.
Maria Shriver has already spoken out after the news broke that her husband had fathered a child with one of his household staff members, saying in a statement:
“This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”
Now two of the couple’s four children have taken to their Twitter accounts to share their thoughts.
17-year-old Patrick Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted:
“I love my family till death do us apart.”
While his 21-year-old sister Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger tweeted:
“This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as i begin to heal and move forward in life. I will always love my family!”
Ugh! We can’t even begin to imagine the kind of mixed emotions they are feeling right now and we won’t pretend to either.
We wish the family the best as they continue to navigate through these difficult circumstances. Arnold’s definitely got his work cut out for him if he wants to save his relationship with them.
