What started out as a summer fling is reportedly much more now!
For Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, it seems the on set chemistry of Señorita too hot to handle, but now they may be in over their heads!

A source tells ET that the two had not originally planned on a full-fledged romance, but are now “committed to working on a relationship.” The insider continued:
“Shawn and Camila originally were just enjoying spending time together and having a summer fling. Camila had just got out of a relationship and Shawn was in the middle of a massive tour.”
In the lyrics of Justin Timberlake: “Summer’s over for the both of us / But that doesn’t mean we should give up on us”
The former Fifth Harmony member has been traveling with the Stitches singer throughout his tour, and the two have been spotted getting hot and heavy from coast to coast over the past few weeks.
The confidant explained:
“However, Shawn and Camila have really fallen for one another.”
And we’ve definitely fallen for them as a couple!!

As we previously reported, it’s all but confirmed that things are romantic between the musicians, this love has been a long time coming, a source shared with E! News:
“It already feels to them like they’ve been together for a lot longer than they have. They’ve known each other and been a part of each other’s lives for a while so it’s all very natural and moving quickly.”
The duo have known each other since at least 2015 when they worked together on I Know What You Did Last Summer.
According to the insider, things weren’t romantic back then, but it’s certainly heated up following Camila’s recent breakup with Matthew Hussey, whom she dated for over a year:
“The timing wasn’t right before but it is right right now. They are going for it without holding back.”
The source echoed what others have said about the 20-year-old and 22-year-old being totally inseparable:
“This step in their relationship is exciting for them both. They haven’t wanted to be apart at all. It’s 24/7 and all out at this point. Neither of them want to be away from each other. She has the opportunity to be there with him and she’s taking it.”
