Snoop Lion, Drake & Cori B Grapple With Gun Violence In New Video!

Well this is VERY different from Ashtrays and Heartbreaks!
Snoop Dogg Lion, Drake and Cori B contemplate gun culture and gun violence in their reggae-esque new single, No Guns Allowed…
And the tune’s accompanying music video depicts numerous images of real-life, gun related crimes!
Take a look at the harrowing visuals (above).
And while we agree that gun violence is a VERY prevalent issue — not just in the US but internationally — and support any message advocating restrictive gun laws, we cannot help but feel this song simplifies and somewhat trivializes a complex, extremely serious subject.
But hey, they are using creative means to bring light to a a very real problem, and that’s pretty effing cool.
