He’s off to a good start!
Stephen Colbert‘s new hosting job — taking over for recently retired David Letterman on CBS‘ The Late Show — is right around the corner!
With just about a month to go, he’s starting to get all his ducks in a row, which means he’s nailing down his guests for his first week!

This morning the future Late Show host took to Twitter to announce who his very first guest is and it’s a big one!
We’ll give you a hint, he was one of Letterman’s last guests on his show, and he also happened to wear a certain set of Bat-nipples├óΓé¼┬ª
That’s right! Colbert announced in a Tweet that:
George Clooney will be my first-ever #LSSC guest on September 8th! Could one of you let him know?

This will actually be the first time Stephen will sit down with George Clooney as the actor never stopped by The Colbert Report!
Way to land a winner! We can’t wait to check out the premiere of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert when it debuts September 8 on CBS.
