Taylor Swift Drops Music Video For Feminist Anthem 'The Man' -- WATCH!

Taylor Swift just dropped a brand new music video on us!

The 30-year-old’s visuals for The Man, released on Monday, was created from footage of her August 2019 live performance at the City of Lover concert in Paris, France at the Olympia Music Hall.

The feminist anthem, which she also performed during her NPR Tiny Desk Concert, is the fourth single from Lover and contains musings of what it would be like if she were a man and not under the near-constant scrutiny she faces as a female.

During her Woman of the Decade sit-down with Billboard, the Cats star spoke about the empowering tune:

“It was a song that I wrote from my personal experience, but also from a general experience that I’ve heard from women in all parts of our industry. I think that, the more we can talk about it in a song like that, the better off we’ll be in a place to call it out when it’s happening.”

Swift added:

“So many of these things are ingrained in even women, these perceptions, and it’s really about re-training your own brain to be less critical of women when we are not criticizing men for the same things.”
