It’s a divorcee slumber party!
Teddi Mellencamp just revealed she’s living with Kyle Richards after her alleged affair with her horse trainer, which blew up her marriage to Edwin Arroyave last month. On Thursday’s premiere episode of her new podcast Diamonds in the Rough with co-host Erika Jayne, Teddi shared:
“So I live at Kyle’s.”

Erika was shocked by the revelation, exclaiming:
“Do you really? Holy s**t!”
Hah!
Teddi then noted she saw the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star “filmed in the glam room” at Kyle’s house, and Erika joked, “Is that where you’re sleeping?” Turns out it’s true, Teddi replied:
“That’s my bedroom now, bitch!”
She added:
“Yeah! Isn’t it great up there? It’s so cozy. … Isn’t that a dream up there? You wanna move in with me?”
Teddi then suggested they “start podding from there,” which the Pretty Mess singer thought was a great idea considering “the house is empty.” Oof. Kyle notably split from her husband Mauricio Umansky last year (though they have not formally divorced yet). Plus, her kids have started to fly the nest too, so it’s been an emotional change for the momma. She must enjoy the company! Kyle knows a thing or two about being caught up in affair rumors, too — oh, to be a fly on the wall for the late-night convos the pals are likely having now!
But why live with Kyle and not get her own place? It turns out Teddi and Edwin are currently “nesting,” a divorce term in which the kids — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4 — stay at the family home while the co-parents take turns living in the house during their custody time (rather than the kids having to move between homes). Teddi was really grateful to have a place to stay nearby when she’s off-duty, remarking:
“So thankfully, Kyle has let me do that. […] So I just zip on over. It’s close. It’s easy. She cooks — sometimes.”
Nice!
What a great friend! While Teddi initially requested sole physical and legal custody of the kiddos, she later changed her mind and requested only joint custody. It’s good to see they’re making it work so far, and that she has besties to lean on during this tough time!
