Teddi Mellencamp has a sad update about her cancer battle — but she’s staying positive.
On Instagram Thursday, the Real Housewives star told her fans what doctors found after her latest scans, and the news is not good. She posted a selfie and wrote in the caption:
“Update from my scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma.”
Not the news any of us wanted to hear…

But even with the confirmation of having more tumors, Teddi is staying positive and she’s ready to fight this battle:
“The doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy will effectively treat them. I am feeling positive– that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina’s kids’ names.”
She wrapped up her post by giving a shoutout to Andy Cohen, adding:
“Now, as @bravoandy would say: with all due… f*** off, cancer!”

In a previous version of the post, the 43-year-old said she’d be starting immunotherapy on Tuesday. We wish her the best as she continues to fight this disease.
