David Letterman is returning to TV!

Why? How?

The chat show host not only stars in his CBS talker but he also owns and produces it. Therefore, Letterman has just been able to negotiate an independent contract with the Writers Guild.

Dave himself is a WGA member.

His should could be back on the air in a matter of days.

Also, NBC is expected to announce today that both Leno and O’Brien will be back on the air by January 2nd, although they’ll be coming back without writers.

Jay and Conan are merely “hired help” and can’t negotiate their own deal with the writers guild. Their shows are owned by NBC, who are being dicks to the writers.

Big coup for Dave.
