Denzel Washington‘s movie is just having problem after problem.
We mentioned this past June that production on Denzel’s new movie, Unstoppable, came to a halt due to budget issues. That was eventually taken care of and the movie is currently filming in Bellaire, Ohio.
But now it seems the locals in Ohio aren’t too pleased with the movie – and neither is the school board.
The parents in the Bellaire area school district are fuming mad that filming of the movie has caused a disruption of the school bus service.
With scenes being filmed this week, the children were forced to endure “long, complicated walks home.”
And, according to parents, twelve kids were dropped off at a shopping plaza on Wednesday about 10 to 15 blocks away from their usual stop due to the filming not allowing the bus to go on its usual route.
One parent added that his 12-year-old daughter wasn’t sure how to walk home from that point as several streets were closed and it took her an hour to get home, adding that the kids were in danger.
But the school system is taking responsibility for not notifying the parents and apologizing with their superintendent admitting, “We dropped the ball.”
Thankfully filming is set to wrap up this today!
