Thick-Billed Parrots Are Born In New York's Queens Zoo

Six baby parrots that were born in New York are an extremely helpful addition to the world’s endangered thick-billed parrot species!

These babies are part of the largest flock of thick-billed parrots in the U.S.

These baby birds are a huge plus in the fight to saved this rare species, which were eliminated from the American Southwest by the mid-20th century.

This is wonderful news!
