Today is the day! After a hiatus that seemed longer than decades in a tomb, The Vampire Diaries finally returns tonight and with a milestone episode!
TVD celebrates the achievement of 100 episodes tonight, and let us tell you… we’ve heard things. Some things are good, some things — not so good. OMG, and this one thing is gonna happen and everyone is going to scream and it’s all going to be a mess.
But let’s not think about that right now. Let’s instead think about all the wonderful moments the last 100 episodes have given us. The magic, the flashbacks, the drama, the hot, hot hotties!
Ah yes! What would our world be without Ian Somerhalder in it? A sad place, correct. And really, who doesn’t love him smoldering around Mystic Falls every week, shirtless or otherwise (though preferably always shirtless.)
And Nina Dobrev has done a terrific job over the years, not just playing one but THREE different characters. Sometimes they were human, sometimes they were vampires — it is so hard to keep track with this girl!
The whole gang has really brought it, honestly! But really, if we’re all being honest, isn’t our favorite part of the show when all these hotties get BUSY!
Oh, and do they ever get BUSY!

Gotta love the first time! Our TVD original couple… we know you Stelena fans are still pulling for them!
9. Klaus and Haley (4×16 – Bring It On)
Speaking of Originals! This came out of nowhere last season, but subsequently launched an entire new series! That’s some powerful copulation! LOLz!
8. Damon and Elena (4×08 – We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street)
Life imitating art? Art imitating life? Um, who cares… Smolderhalder is shirtless. Less talky, more watchy. (Nice touch using the Twilight music, y’all!)
7. Bonnie and Jeremy (5×08 – Dead Man on Campus)
Took them long enough! Sure, he was dead, then she was dead — and of course, he is her best friend’s baby brother. So many complications! Ah, to be young and in love in Mystic Falls!
6. Stefan and Elena (4×02 – Memorial)
Yes, them again. But this time, it’s hot AND gross! For Stelena fans, the first 60 secs are pretty damn hot. For Delena fans, the 60 seconds after are like an fangirl air highfive in victory!
5. Damon and Elena (3×19 – Heart of Darkness)
We assume you see the pattern here. Elena is a flip flopper! But this scene, where Elena finally kisses Damon back is so super hot, you kind of forgive her for waiting forever to choose between the two brothers. Plus, we love how backwards this is. First they’re in bed, then they makeout outside the hotel! Brilliant!
4. Caroline and Tyler (3×01 – The Birthday)
Now, did you really think we would forget these two? C’mon! The vampire-werewolf, West Side Story thing? It’s hot! And when these two finally hook up in season 3, well, let’s just say it was mooooooooore than worth the wait!
3. Katherine and Stefan (2×11 – By The Light of The Moon)
Now, did you really think we could have ANY kind of list about TVD and not include the baddest bitch in town? Katherine Pierce is the whole reason this lot is together in the first place! So, it’s only fitting we include this steamy scene from deep inside the tomb. It may have just been a dream… but some dreams are worth reliving!
2. Damon and Rebekah (3×14 – Dangerous Liaisons)
Have mercy! Things get ROUGH when two vamps are drunk and left broken-hearted. No one saw this coming… from behind! Boy, what is it with the Salvatore boys sharing women, huh?
1. Damon and Elena (4×07 – My Brother’s Keeper)
Okay, sure, they’ve dominated our list a bit, but this one tops everything. It’s sensual, it’s sexy — it’s the first time these two do the deed and it’s all Delena fans could have asked for!
