A Matschie tree kangaroo at the St. Louis Zoo kept her joey named Nokopo safe and warm in her pouch over the holidays.

Matschie tree kangaroos are endangered marsupials found only in the thick, mountainous forests of Papa New Guinea so we’re glad that this momma is keeping her baby joey safe!
