Michelle Obama Honors Arts Programs For Young Americans

First Lady personally thanked the teachers of art programs for youth across America.
Earlier today Michelle Obama, Honorary Chair of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, spoke on the importance of arts programs for young people.
Michelle tells the art teachers:

“You’re not just teaching these young people about painting, or acting, or singing. You’re teaching them about hard work, and discipline, and team work. All of you teaching young people aren’t just teaching them to use the arts to lift themselves, you’re teaching them to lift up their communities, as well.
“the arts are not an extra and not a luxury! It’s life line.”

Well said!
Politics aside, we can all agree that keeping art programs in schools is SUPER important!
