Andy Cohen Stops By 'The Wendy Williams Show' For The First Time In SIX YEARS - & Shades Kevin Hunter!

Wendy Williams continues to thrive on the heels of her divorce filing!

As we reported, the talk show host has been living her best single life since ending her 22-year marriage to Kevin Hunter earlier this year. But cutting ties with her ex is benefitting the daytime diva in other ways, too — like reuniting her with long lost friends!

That was made clear when Andy Cohen appeared on The Wendy Williams Show for the first time in six years on Thursday.

After giving the host flowers for her 55th birthday, the Watch What Happens Live host suggested Hunter was the reason why he and Wendy hadn’t been close over the past few years. He said:

“Your husband was not my biggest fan… but I’ve been cheering you on for the last six years.”

Awwww!

Now that Williams is single and very ready to mingle, Andy said he’s cheering her on more than ever, quipping:

“I’m so excited about Wendy in the city.”

Who isn’t!?

Fans will know Wendy’s basically become a new woman since filing for divorce from her allegedly unfaithful husband and subsequently firing him from The Wendy Williams Show, on which he served as executive producer for several years.

The new dad had previously hinted Hunter was the cause of his and Wendy’s falling out years ago. When Charlamagne Tha God — another one of the TV personality’s former friends — stopped by Cohen’s Bravo show last July, the two agreed Hunter was the reason they were both no longer speaking to the talk show queen.

Now with Hunter no longer in the picture, Andy and Wendy are back in full bestie mode — and fans were all about it!

Following his appearance, Cohen retweeted a fan who wrote that watching him on Wendy was like “watching my 2 besties that haven’t seen each other in a while!! The love is real.”
