The best play at last night’s Blue Rays vs. Rangers game wasn’t on the field, it was in the stands!
10-year-old Austin Chaney was sitting in the front row along the third base line when Assistant Coach Luis Rivera tossed him a foul ball.
Austin caught it in his glove. He then turned around and gave a baseball to the cute girl sitting behind him. She was clearly impressed by this kind gesture!
But she should watch the video below!
Because Austin is one smooth operator! He didn’t give her the foul ball he caught, he gave her another ball that he had in his other hand!
SportsCenter picked up on this priceless video and featured Austin on their show! He’s now a local celebrity!
He explained just what happened at the game, saying:
“We were getting a few foul balls, but mainly it was foul balls the third base coach caught and tossed them up. I was told if I got another ball, I should give it to someone else, so I turned around. I thought I was going to give it to someone deep down there, and I saw her right in front of me and I gave it to her.├óΓé¼┬¥
We just wonder if that girl gave Austin her phone number after!
