It’s official. Anne Hathaway’s super shady ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, plead guilty to real estate fraud in a New York court on Wednesday.

When you have people like Bill Clinton‘s best friend, supermarket moneybags Ron Burkle, pissed off at you – it’s best to plead guilty, right?

Rafool is heading to the slammer for four years.

On another note, a new report claims that Follieri might have had allies in the Vatican who helped him with his ‘business’. The Secretary of State at the Vatican supposedly boasted of the work that Follieri’s organization did in developments that benefited the church.

However, at the moment, the Vatican has refused to comment on the case.
