Joe Francis In $2 Million Worth Of Gambling Debt?!

joe-francis-gambling-debt.jpg

Sounds like someone has a real problem.

Back in 2009, Steve Wynn sued Girls Gone Wild exec Joe Francis for over $2 million, claiming that Joe owed that much in gambling debts. Steve won the case and Joe was ordered to pay up.

Fast forward to two years later and Steve hasn't seen a red cent from Joe. So, he's kicking things up a notch.

Though Joe maintains he was offered a discount on his losses, because he refused to pay his debt, a Vegas grand jury has ordered Joe to stand trial against two criminal charges: Felony theft and fraud.

If he is found guilty, he faces up to four years in prison.

But Joe doesn't sound too worried. After all, he has evaded going to prison before. He's told sources:

"I'm 100% confident that I will prevail, just like I always do. Steve Wynn has enormous influence over the politicians in the Las Vegas area … so I'm sure he's behind this. The moral of the story is don't gamble at the Wynn casinos or this could happen to you."

No, we're pretty sure this could only happen to you! Good luck though!

Joe Francis' Wife Takes Off!

Filed under: Love Line > Joe Francis

joe francis wife leaves him

Sorry Joe!

In less than two months into their marriage, Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis' wifey Christina McLarty has left him.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"Joe Francis' wife moved out, and they might be getting a divorce.

He was talking about the details of the separation openly while at the Kardashian holiday party. Christina moved out a bit after Thanksgiving."

Well, at least that Jayde Nicole lawsuit is settled!

There's other fish in the sea, honey.

Joe Francis Off The Hook! Jayde Nicole Officially Settles Lawsuit

Filed under: Legal Matters > Joe Francis

joe-francis-lawsuit-settled2.jpg

Maybe she's just ready to forgive and forget.

Sources have spoken to Jayde Nicole's lawyer who has confirmed that his client has decided to end her civil lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis. You'll recall that Jayde was suing Joe for attacking her at an El Lay nightclub. (You remember the video, don't you? He grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground!)

Anyway, he wouldn't comment on exactly what his client got from settling the $1 million lawsuit, he did imply that Jayde is ready to move on. In the official statment, her attorney explains:

"The terms of the settlement agreement are strictly confidential, so there will be no comment whatsoever as to the terms.

Generally speaking, my client would never settle cases that are close to trial that she initiates unless she was thrilled, delighted, and overjoyed with the resolution. She wishes Joe all the best and is glad this matter is behind them.

Always at the end of the year, parties generally like to close out loose ends, my client is enjoying her holiday and is looking forward to shopping in America's best stores."

Tis the season to be forgiving, we guess!

Lance Bass Writing A Script Based On His Own Crazy Road Trip!

lance-bass-writing-screenplay-based-on-road-trip-with-cheryl-tiegs

Ha! We want to know what happened, bb!

This sounds like it could be HIGHlarious!

Lance Bass and model Cheryl Tiegs recently traveled through the Mexican countryside together to attend Joe Francis' wedding last month after complications with their flight, and apparently, the trip was so insane that the former N'Sync-er is writing a screenplay based on it all!

He explains:

"We're bonded for life after that trip."

Oh man! Too funny!

We're actually a little curious to see what kind of writing skillz our Lance has!

Hopefully it will translate well onto page, and we'll soon be able to watch for ourselves all of the wacky shenanigans these guys got into on the journey!

Thoughts??

Joe Francis Ordered To Pay Up Big Cash To Brody Jenner's Famewhore Ex!

wenn2839453459__opt.jpg

Excellent to see justice being served!

Girls Gone Wild founder/scumbag Joe Francis has been ordered to pay $30k in legal fees incurred by the arguably insane Jayde Nicole, after he was caught on videotape attacking the Playboy model in a West Hollywood club!

According to her attorney, Ronald Richards:

"Today Joe Francis will owe Jayde Nicole a minimum of at least $31,000 pending a final ruling in attorneys' fees for filing a cross complaint that infringed upon her free speech rights. He never appealed the dismissal by the court, and that judgment is final. He won't be able to spin that any other way."

Good!

She may be psycho, but he had no business putting an effing finger on her!

Thoughts??

Joe Francis Suing Over Tell-All Book

Filed under: Legal Matters > Joe Francis

wenn2839252.jpg

Bet there's some juicy deets in there!

Joe Francis is suing cameraman Ryan Simkin for breaking a confidentiality agreement when he wrote Flash! Bars, Boobs, And Busted: 5 Years On The Road With Girls Gone Wild, a tell-all about his experience traveling with the series.

The book is described as a “shocking account of…sex, drugs and rock & roll and ultimately a few trips to the slammer” where nobody “was innocent.”

Simkin worked as a cameraman for Francis from 2002 to 2007 and then as a freelance writer for Girls Gone Wild magazine until the beginning of this year.

The papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday stated, “Unfortunately, Simkin has decided that money and fame are more important to him than keeping promises.”

This is gonna be inneresting.

Joe Francis Is Getting Married

wenn2839459jb.jpg

Oh, what a proud day for women everywhere.

Joe Francis has apparently found someone to tolerate him for more than 30 seconds at a time, and he intends to marry her!

The lucky lady is surprisingly not a cracked out stripper who confused him for someone worthwhile, but actually CBS reporter Christina McLarty!

And, the more and more we think about this, it has to be some sort of joke or stunt, because apparently Quincy Jones has agreed to be his best man!

WTF? Have we been transported to some awful, nightmarish reality?? There's no way this can actually be happening.

Francis says:

"We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don't believe it's appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States. The weekend will be fun, luxurious and filled with lots of surprises. This will be a nontraditional celebration of love, family and friends."

Yeah, right. Nontraditional.

Thoughts??
