Brains AND beauty on the red carpet? Yes, please!!

For those who don't know, Amy Poehler and Meredith Walker started an amazing organization called Smart Girls which encourages young girls to strive for better and bigger in a society where there's intense pressure to play dumb. While the foundation works all year long, it especially shines during award show season with its #SmartGirlsAsk series.

Get Ready For Ricky Gervais' Return By Reliving The 10 Best Celebrity Burns From The Golden Globes Over The Years!

Prepare for the witty shade!

Ricky Gervais is hosting the upcoming 2016 Golden Globes and Hollywood is preparing to get roasted by a host with, as Robert Downey Jr. put it, "sinister undertones!"

Like that time the host compared the Globes to the Oscars with Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton, saying:

"For any of you who don't know, the Golden Globes are just like the Oscars, but without all that esteem. The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton. A bit louder, a bit trashier, a bit drunker, and more easily bought."

Ouch!

The British comedian isn't the only host who knows how to burn Hollywood's elite — Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had their fair share of jabs at stars like George Clooney, James Cameron, and that feud-inducing dig at Taylor Swift!

Hopefully, this year's ceremony is close to a hospital — because we have a feeling Ricky will burn the entire crowd!
