Donald Trump is officially the 45th President of the United States.
We're so glad to hear Bobby Brown is doing well!
According to Mr. Brown, all those rumors of health issues couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, the singer reveals he's doing better than ever!
When asked if he's doing okay, the R&B icon joked:
As you know, Nick Gordon was ordered to pay $36 million to Bobbi Kristina's estate as a result of the wrongful death civil lawsuit against him. Bobby Brown continues to urge the District Attorney to criminally prosecute his daughter's ex as a next step.
In light of all this news, Gordon took to social media to share a tribute to B.K.'s famous mother, Whitney Houston.
A little background, the I Have Nothing singer was found unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton at the age of 48 back in 2012. A few years later, her daughter suffered that same fate in her Atlanta home. Gordon was present when both women were found unconscious.
Despite being found civilly liable for Bobbi Kristina's death, Gordon honored the icon on Twitter:
Bobby Brown means BUSINESS.
Following the news that Nick Gordon was ordered to pay a $36 million settlement to Mr. Brown for the death of Bobbi Kirstina, fans wondered how exactly the high bill would be paid. It's been pretty obvious from the start Nick doesn't have the funds to pay the judgement.
According to the singer's lawyer, Craig Terrett, the family intends to hire a collection lawyer to get the money at any cost. An example of this would be garnishing the Florida resident's wages.
Terrett went on to explain to People Magazine:
"Bobby is relieved to have this chapter of the process behind him, but now he intends to actively pursue the collection against Nick Gordon. We will be working with a collection attorney in Florida and we are moving forward quickly. We will be attaching the judgements to all those things in Florida… if he goes on Dr. Phil, they will get that money. If he writes a book, and so on."
Sounds intense! We're glad Bobby's team has such a vigorous plan in place.
In addition, Craig reveals the estate will also go after Whitney Houston's engagement ring which is Gordon's possession:
The fight for justice for Bobbi Kristina continues.
As we reported yesterday, Nick Gordon was ordered to pay $36 million to his former girlfriend's estate as a result of the wrongful death civil lawsuit against him — and while Bobby Brown is "pleased" with the judge's decision, he is still urging the District Attorney to criminally prosecute his daughter's ex as a next step.
"I am pleased with the outcome of today's court proceedings. I do know that Mr. Gordon will be unable to slander my daughter's name in the future or obtain any benefits from the use of Krissy's name."
Whitney Houston's ex added:
As you know, Nick Gordon was found civilly liable in September for the untimely death of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina after being found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta home in January 2015.
On Thursday, a judge ruled Gordon must pay $36,250,000 in civil damages in the wrongful death case, just four million short of what Bobbi's estate originally asked for — according to AP.
TMZ reports Nick was once again a no-show for court and breaks down the judges ruling as follows:
Nick Gordon isn't doing well these days.
Although, we can't say we're surprised as Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend was found legally responsible for the death of the R&B scion back in September. Reportedly, since the ruling, Gordon has been living a reclusive lifestyle as one source claims the 26-year-old mainly spends his days "watching TV and surfing the net".
The insider elaborated to People:
What is going on with Nick Gordon??
As you surely know, earlier this month, a judge found Nick civilly liable for the untimely death of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina back in July of 2015. To make matters worse, the late R&B scion's love failed to even appear in court to hear the verdict.
However, new pics obtained from DailyMail indicate the controversial celeb may be going through a tough time since being found legally responsible for B.K.'s passing. In a series of new photos, Gordon is seen behaving suspiciously near his Florida home.
