Okay so maybe people aren't really thinking about hamming it up in that moment, but sometimes we DO get some glorious mugshots!
Al Michaels got nabbed for a DUI on Friday night (which was a trend that day, apparently!), and he gave us the boring one (above)! Sure, he's cracking a little half smile — from what looks like confusion as to when the pic is getting snapped — but he could have swung for the fences and stuck his tongue out at us or something!

Anyway, the broadcaster was arrested Friday night in Santa Monica when he allegedly made an illegal U-turn in front of a DUI checkpoint. Why would someone do that? Oh, probably when they know they're driving drunk!
Sources say he was above the legal limit, which is why he was arrested! Apparently he was super nice about it all, though!
You don't ALWAYS have to be a bummer in situations like this!
Though, he did put lives in danger! Maybe he should act like it a little bit!
If you took your average Bloods gang member and shoved a bunch of bags of heroin up his butt, how many do you think you could fit?
You'd have access to all the same equipment a real Bloods gang member would have, like little baggies, heroin, and probably like, vaseline or spit or whatever! LOLz!

His 21-year-old son Conner was arrested by Indiana University campus police this Sunday.
Was he drunk and rowdy, challenging people to one on one basketball games??
Nope! He attacked his girlfriend and tried to run her over with his car!!
We previously mentioned that MLB star Todd Helton was BUSTED for a DUI!
Even though Todd once signed a contract for a whopping $141 million dollars, when he was busted for his DUI, he was buying lotto tickets!!
According to the police report, the cops found Helton after they got a tip that
Todd Helton is the first baseman for the Colorado Rockies.
He was just arrested for a DUI this morning. He looks like he was either way plastered or pretty embarrassed in his mugshot (above).
The cops said he was cooperative which we're sure made things better for everyone.
A rep for the Rockies released a statement saying:
Shawne Williams, a former NBA star who was a first round draft pick, was just arrested in Tennessee last night!
He was in possession of that sweet sweet chronic (weed) and the white lady (cocaine).
Williams may have even been trying to sell it!
What else was he supposed to do with it?? SMOKE it all??
