The internet is always thinking of crazy new ways to entertain itself.

Usually involving cats and/or people doing something weird.

This latest meme combines both into something amazing known as "cat bearding."

What exactly is cat bearding?

It's been tough, looking at all the destruction in Oklahoma, caused by that awful recent tornado.

It's so terrible, thinking about how many people were injured or killed, and how many homes were destroyed.

But every once in a while, something wonderful happens.

We just mentioned a woman found her pet dog underneath the rubble of her destroyed home while giving an interview live on TV.

Now, another story of pet rescue:

New Zealand is constantly battling invasive species who want nothing more than to eat their exotic birds.

So thankfully there's a man, Gareth Morgan, fighting to protect the birds!

He plans on saving birds by eliminating all cats from New Zealand as we previously mentioned…

Wait… what??

Morgan said:

Does your cat ever want to play with you, and you just aren't up for it?

What's that, you say? All the time, you say?

Well, we say we have the most perfect new toy for you and your cat!

It's called the Solar Chaser! And it essentially is a toy FOR cats powered by the sun!!!

A pet kitty named Pancake is placed on a high table, and immediately starts freaking out because presumably he can't get down!

He is just a kitten after all!

But when he notices that a juicy watermelon has been placed on the table - he realizes what he's meant to do.

He's meant to eat it!!! Just eat it!!!

Which he does!!!

This adorable little cat and adorable little baby just can't keep their paws off each other!

While baby is trying to settle in for a nap, this little kitty is looking for a cuddle partner! And oh gosh, it just gets sooooOOOOOooo cute! Baby and kitty are besties for life!

Sometimes cats do weird things…

Scratch that, cats always do weird things.

Like getting themselves stuck in impossible to reach/escape from places.

This is the story of one of those types of cats, named Hugo, who while playing with his buddy Chester, decided to wedge himself between a screen and a sliding door.

It doesn't look very fun, but Hugo apparently loves it.

We guess because Chester can't get at him now!!

Cat fight! Woo!!
